Understanding dyslexia
A different way of learning, not a lack of ability
Dyslexia mainly affects how a person reads and spells words. It can make reading slow and tiring. It says nothing about how bright, curious or capable a child is.
Dyslexia is not a measure of intelligence.
It is not caused by laziness or a lack of effort.
With the right teaching, children can keep learning and growing.

Our enrichment programmes
Five areas of learning, taught step by step
Each programme breaks skills into small, clear steps. Learners practise with sight, sound, movement and touch, so new skills are easier to remember.
